SXSW Interviews: Bright Light Social Hour, Venice is Sinking, Quiet Company
Just last Wednesday (seriously? It feels like a million years ago…), I got to meet Curtis, Jack, and A.J. from the Austin buzz band Bright Light Social Hour. They are all super-nice guys who seem genuinely grateful for all the attention they’re getting in Austin.

It was extra tricky interviewing a huge band like Venice is Sinking, but luckily, they made it fun by being such cool people. I really enjoy meeting bands that are so down-to-earth, particularly when they’re willing to forgive my novice on-camera interviewing skills.
